Meepos:
Meepos love to cuddle, come in many bright colors in summer, and shed their fur in cold weather, growing a duller coat to match their surroundings. The main warm weather coat color of a meepo is determined by the temperature at which the egg of the meepo is laid.
Meepos live in herds and make nests of grasses. They are so fluffy that their small arms, hands, mouths, noses and ears cannot be seen at first glance.
Although all meepos are monotremes (egg laying mammals), and are therefore connected most strongly to the earth element, lead by the spirit Hatero, different colors, such as the blue meepo shown, may also have a connection to water, fire, or sky.
The rarest meepo color is white, for white meepos only come from eggs
laid during a snowfall. White meepos have no elemental connection, not even to
earth. (All meepos turn white to camouflage, the rare ones are always white).
